Monday 14th, November – Sunday 20th, November
This week I proposed my idea for the group project and instead of using PowerPoint slides this time I decided to go for handwritten cards to pitch my idea for this group project. I felt more comfortable with cards than the PowerPoint slides. But after my presentation I feel a combination of both (PowerPoint slides and handwritten cards) can be even more useful and effective.

Documentation of hypothetical installation

Photos from the class

At the end of this PowerPoint presentation session, we all voted twice and decided to choose Jennifer’s workshop idea THE DOLL.
Self-led project
I booked creative arts project space for experimentation but unfortunately, I was unable to make any progress on my personal / independent project. I am struggling to arrange equipment, particularly eight units of lights to create eight shadows behind me while I am performing or recording this performance to install it later for the hypothetical exhibition.
Progress
I finally got a positive response from the TV and film department confirming my booking for 8 units of lighting equipment. The e-mail says your booked equipment will be available from 1st of December to 3rd of December. I am hoping to rebook the creative arts project room space or type my booking with one of my colleagues.

Documentation of revisiting my work from the beginning of this semester

I was learning more about the importance of light, positioning and different techniques of installing the artwork.
Tutorial with Tim
We caught up with my notebook from week one to five in this tutorial time. I expressed my difficulties with technical issues of hiring the equipment from different other departments. In general, it was a valuable experience explaining my ideas and development of my project to a new person. Even though I was anxious about the progress of my project development I felt I had done a lot of work in terms of experimentation, exploration of the idea the everyday and documentation which felt particularly good.
