WEEK 6 (READING WEEK)

michael’s guitarre
i finally played the guitar of my deceased relative, Michael

Michael was the son of my grandmother’s cousin. I won’t get into the details of his death, but he died quite young, so it was the most tragic thing ever.

His mother was OK with me taking his guitar, in September while my mother picked up. Now it’s at home in Gutweiler, Germany. However, one of the strings, the lower E-String, was loose. Immediately I was worried I’d broken it.

But I just had to wire it tight again. And it has 6 properly working strings:

MAC KEYBOARD PERFORMANCE

This sound is the sound of getting things done.

Keep tapping, commenting i might break it, this lovely expensive piece of e quipment.

Write dialogue between my inner head, there will be one just before performance, but also now one in Week 6 (?)

R1: So

R2: Here we are again

R1: silence

R2: So what’s your excuse this time?

R1:…. For what?

R2: Well… are you happy with the current state of your work?

R2: are you a failure?

R2: are you Worthless

R1 goes to the ground

R2 haut mehr und mehr rein

R2: are you letting your anxieties cripple you, and can you not give yourself nüchterner, unsubjective Kritik

Richard nimm doch mal Kritik an!

LOOKING AT ME

What it does to me, looking at myself

I see myself, see myself in that position. That’s the moody, self-introspective guitar position, its 2D on the now now album cover, Danny boland in his A2 music video.

I’ve made it? Just need to learn Chords. And actually sound, good, interesting

Oh hi, Anthony. I met Tony at the Freshers Fair, he’s great, I told myself, I think I found my Brian May.

He’s great at guitar, can we play some guitar together.

(Touch the guitar, remembering Michael) Michael, my cousin second removed or sth. Can you join my band? I wish we could have talked

Listening to lazy by suede – the theme of procrastination. Ask yourself, why do I procrastinate? Is it the ADHD.  Ask people: do you procrastinate.
