During the Easter break, I spend a lot of time editing the videos and putting the final documentary together. I did this through Imovie. The main work consisted of selecting concise information from the long interviewers that I took with the participants. I really enjoyed the process of carefully selecting someone’s words to transmit their meaning as well as capturing everyone’s essence. I also designed the display of everyone’s word and definition with a simple yellow and white design before their video.
Finally, I decided to change the whole documentary to black and white instead of presenting it in color as all the videos involved were really different and didn’t quite merge color-wise.
Due to having recorded Michelle (one of the participants) in Spanish I also had to add subtitles translated to English on her part of the video.
